Corrective Exercise

Corrective Exercise

You have muscle imbalances that are causing physical issues like low-back pain, knee injuries, or shoulder instabilities. You want to reduce pain and the risk of future injuries and head off problems caused by repetitive motions.

Corrective exercise uses anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics information about how the body works to fix faulty movement patterns. For more serious conditions, corrective exercise often begins after physical therapy. You’ll see improved posture, balance, coordination, mobility, and stability.

After discussing your personal health history and goals, I’ll watch how you move and create a customized program to address your movement dysfunctions. I concentrate on improved performance, joint stability, and muscular activation, endurance, and balance.

Improve your quality of life through better movement.

“I’ve got knee, angle and hand problems.  I had taken some tumbles and lost mobility in ankles and my right hand. My ankle flexibility and balance are so much better! My husband could count on a quarterly call with the dreaded “I’ve fallen…and need stitches” call pre – Patty.  [I haven’t had] a single fall since focusing on balance and flexibility!” Tracey
